Songbird Download Info

Songbird Free Download
Songbird is a free to download media player that looks fantastic and through the numerous add ons available adds a whole new dimension to listening to your music.

Click here to have a look at some of the great features Songbird has to offer.

Songbird is both a browser and media player combined in one. It looks great and offers additional functionality to a regular media player. If Songbird finds MP3 files on a web page, a dynamic play list is created automatically, which can immediately be played.

Similar to iTunes is the play back ability, where your music sits on your own PC. Music is sorted according to the artist, album or song and all songs saved on the hard drive are displayed.

Songbird is available in over 64 different languages, and has over 30 add ons already on the market. Singbird comes with two skins which lets you adjust the look of the media player to suit your moods.

Songbird lets you combine all of your media players and Internet browser into one easy to use, good looking package, regardless of your Operating System.
Songbird is the media player from the creators of the Internet browser Firefox. It looks great and combines the functionality of both Windows Media Player and iTunes. Along with the basics such as intuitive playlists and library functions, it offers so much more.  As it’s compatible with all media formats it makes all other media players obsolete.  It is also designed to act as an Internet browser; this lets you to listen to music directly from web pages.  The fact that you can then save these MP3s to your Songbird Library makes this feature all the more impressive.
The attributes that make Firefox standout as an Internet browser are also what makes Songbird special.  There are also a series of over 40 add-ons, from an iPod device support to a cool Wikipedia extension that displays the Wiki page of the artist that is playing.  While I was listening to ‘Live Forever’ by Oasis, I found out that lead singer Liam had some teeth knocked out in a fight in a bar in Germany!  Everyday really is a school day.  The ever growing list of add-ons allows you to constantly tailor Songbird to suit your needs.  This is a cross platform media player, meaning that it can be used by Mac, Linux and Windows users.
Songbird is currently in the Beta test phase, so there may be a number of glitches and functions not available, such as the CD Import/Export function, but don’t let this deter you from using, what is surely the ‘next big thing’ in media players.

Yah this is good

This is interesting and is really good. I am going to stick to iTunes though simply because it is easy to use with my iPod. However, if you are not held back by an iPod you should definitly check this out. It has many features that many music players could take some pointers on.

Good functionality and insightful info

A media player which offers that little bit extra. Combine the good looks of iTunes and really builds on this with the additional features. The Wikipedia add on is something I really enjoyed - to find out useful snippets of info about the band you are listening to is a nice touch.
