Exaile Download Info

Exaile media player free download
Exaile is a GTK clone for the well known KDE media player Amarok.

Exailes´ menus are neatly arranged and it has the typical Linux-functions like OSD, and integration in the sytem tray. The functions and interface are oriented to Amarok and thus are very similar.

The data management works like a music library. The plugins allow you to synchronize Exaile with your iPod. Since version 7.10, Exaile is the standard audio player for Ubuntu (a Gnome based linux distribution). Version 0.2.12b comes with better podcast support, proxy configuration and furthermore improved performance with larger libraries.

Clarity, useful functions, plugins and a cover search really make a good substitute for the KDE-based audioplayer Amarok.

Exaile is a media player aiming to be similar to KDE's Amarok, but for GTK+. It includes many Amarok features: fetching of album covers, handling of large libraries, fetching of lyrics, and more.
